US accepts Iran’s 10-point proposal as the foundation for a ceasefire agreement after Tehran rejected a previous 15-point US plan. 4/7. The proposal includes a complete halt to attacks against Iran and allied resistance groups, the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region, and a ban on launching attacks against Iran from regional bases or forming new combat deployments. 1. Guarantee that Iran will not be attacked again. 2. Permanent end to the war, not just a ceasefire. 3. End to Israeli strikes in Lebanon. 4. Lifting of all US sanctions on Iran. 5. End to all regional fighting against Iranian allies. 6. Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz. 7. Iran to impose a Hormuz fee of $2 million per ship. 8. Iran to split these fees with Oman. 9. Iran to provide rules for safe passage through Hormuz. 10. Iran to use Hormuz fees for reconstruction instead of reparations.

Palestinian Prisoners Day 4/17, more than 9,600 Palestinians are held in IDF prisons and often subjected to torture and inhumane conditions, including 350 children, and 3,532 held as ‘administrative detainees’ without charge or trial. 1,251 detainees from Gaza are being held as ‘unlawful combatants’ allowing indefinite detention without legal protections. At least 89 detainees have died due to torture, starvation, or medical neglect since 10/7/23. Since 1967, IDF have detained an estimated one million Palestinians, or approximately 20% of the Palestinian population.
